Philips HomeRun 7000 Series Aqua XU7000/01 – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Philips HomeRun 7000 Series Aqua XU7000/01 is the darker-finish unit of the first-generation HomeRun 7000 Aqua, sharing the platform’s 5,000 Pa suction, hybrid rubber-and-bristle main brush and 430-vibration-per-minute vibrating flat mop. It navigates with a rotating 360-degree LiDAR turret plus six downward cliff sensors and a bumper panel; no ToF sensors are fitted on the XU7000 generation, so its sensor care is the simplest in the range. At 5,000 Pa the washable filter still loads steadily, and a medium that has shifted from white to even grey is already past rated airflow, which makes the motor draw extra current.

This set keeps every interval supplied with Plus.Parts® consumables built as a direct-fit alternative to the original Philips parts and XV1473/00: two main brushes, four side brushes, eight filters and four mop pads, eighteen parts in all. The hybrid main brush traps hair at the junction where each bristle row meets the rubber flank, so it is run weekly with the supplied cleaning tool and replaced every six to twelve months – the shorter end with pets, the longer end in a pet-free flat, with reduced carpet pickup on a clean filter the reliable end-of-life signal. The washable filters are tapped over a bin monthly, rinsed in cold water only and air-dried a full 24 hours before refitting; replace every three to six months. The kit carries extra filters because that cadence runs ahead of the brush.

The two washable microfibre mop pads take thousands of extra friction cycles per square metre at 430 vibrations per minute, so they are rinsed clear after each session, machine-washed up to 60°C without fabric softener, and replaced every three to six months once the face matts and stops spreading water evenly. The single right-side brush is inspected weekly for wrapped hair and replaced every six to twelve months; a brush bent past about twenty degrees takes a permanent set and should be swapped rather than straightened.
