Tefal X-Plorer Serie 75 S+ RG8597 – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Tefal X-Plorer Serie 75 S+ RG8597 is the higher-specification configuration of the Tefal X-Plorer Serie 75 S+ range, sharing the Groupe SEB platform with its Rowenta counterpart. It maps with an LDS laser module, runs a high-airflow BLDC motor and the Smart Aqua Power mop, and empties its bin into a sealed Suction Station bag on every return. The four Tefal Serie 75 S+ models share one maintenance kit and one service schedule.

This set supplies Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternatives to the original Tefal parts: two main brush rolls, four side brushes, eight filters, four Suction Station dustbags and four mop cloths – 22 parts in all. The battery is sealed and not part of this kit, but how you treat the charging path decides how long it stays healthy. The integrated lithium-ion cell holds a useful runtime for two to three years; the clearest sign of real decline is a robot that can no longer finish its mapped floor plan on a single charge despite starting full. Before assuming the cell is tired, though, wipe the charging contacts on the robot underside and the dock base with a dry cloth monthly – resistance from an oxidised contact cuts charging efficiency and mimics a worn battery. When a genuine replacement is due, Tefal authorised service is the route for all X-Plorer models.

Keep the consumables on schedule so the robot draws no more current than it needs. Tap the sponge pre-filter and pleated HEPA weekly, wash only the sponge, and replace both every two to three months. Inspect the full-width brush roll weekly and clear the end-cap bearings, replacing the roll every six to eight months – a dragging brush makes the motor and battery work harder than they should. Clear the side-brush posts weekly and replace the pair every three to six months. Rinse and air-dry the Smart Aqua Power pad after each run, replacing it every two to three months, and empty the water tank after every session. Wipe the LDS dome and cliff sensors weekly, and replace the sealed Suction Station bag on a fixed eight-week calendar.
