Philips HomeRun 7000 Series Aqua XU7000/02 – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Philips HomeRun 7000 Series Aqua XU7000/02 is the lighter-finish version of the first-generation HomeRun 7000 Aqua and is mechanically identical to the XU7000/01 in every maintenance respect: 5,000 Pa suction, a hybrid rubber-and-bristle main brush, a 430-vibration-per-minute vibrating flat mop with electric water tank, and a Dual Wave auto-empty dock. Like its sibling it relies on the rotating LiDAR turret with cliff and bumper sensors and carries no ToF strip, so the only sensor work is a monthly bumper wipe and a weekly clean of the six underside cliff sensors that stop false drop-detections at thresholds.

This set supplies every consumable as a Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternative to the original Philips parts and XV1473/00: two main brushes, four side brushes, eight filters and four mop pads, eighteen in total. The hybrid brush combines bristle rows that lift carpet pile with rubber ribs that scoop hard-floor debris, and fine hair collects where the two meet, so a weekly pass with the bundled tool keeps it from compacting against the end-cap bearings; replace every six to twelve months. The washable filters are tapped monthly, rinsed cold without detergent and dried for a full day before refitting – a damp filter behind 5,000 Pa of airflow invites mould in the chamber – and replaced every three to six months regardless of how they look, because a washable medium still loses pleat spring and frame seal over time.

The two microfibre pads are rinsed after every run and machine-washed up to 60°C with no softener, since softener permanently coats the fibre; replace every three to six months, sooner once a stiff or matted face stops spreading the tank’s water evenly. The right-side brush is checked weekly and replaced every six to twelve months, as a splayed brush leaves dust stripes along the skirting. The Dual Wave dock’s 3.0 L anti-allergy bag lasts about thirty days when the transfer seals stay clean, so wipe the dock port, the robot port and the four charging contacts monthly with a dry cloth.
