The Roborock Q7 L5 delivers 8,000 Pa suction through a rubber-finned main brush and a fixed flat mop pad. The charge-only dock keeps the setup compact. The E11-rated washable filter on the Q7 L5 handles the 8,000 Pa airflow at a moderate loading rate. Roborock recommends rinsing weekly and replacing every two to three months. At 8,000 Pa the filter loads at a slightly lower rate than on the 10,000 Pa Q7 M5, so owners can expect the filter to remain translucent against a bright light a few weeks longer. That brightness test is the most reliable replacement cue: hold the filter up to a window or lamp, and when the pleats are no longer translucent, replace rather than rinse. Do not scrub the pleats with a brush, because scrubbing compresses the filter media and reduces the effective surface area. Allow a full 24 hours of air drying after each rinse – a damp filter reinstalled into the chassis develops mould at the base of the pleats within days and produces a musty odour on the next cleaning run. Two filters in this set let you rotate one in while the other dries, eliminating the temptation to re-install a still-damp cartridge.
