The Roborock Qrevo MaxV combines the Qrevo’s mopping capability with camera-based obstacle recognition, which means it spends less time stopped or rerouting and more time completing actual cleaning passes. On hard floors, it reads the environment well enough to maintain consistent mopping coverage even in cluttered rooms. The mop system does the contact work on every pass, pressing the pad to the floor and scrubbing as the robot moves. That consistent contact is also what degrades the pad: repeated pressure and friction against tile, wood, or stone surfaces gradually compresses the microfiber and reduces its ability to lift the surface residue that mopping is meant to remove. Dock-assisted washing extends the intervals, but the pad eventually reaches the end of its useful life.
