The Roborock RRA0TAC is a regional retail code for Roborock’s refreshed Q7 family, a line that upgraded the original Q7 chassis from 2,700 Pa to 8,000 Pa and replaced the older bristle-and-rubber brush with a rubber-finned roller. The finned design directs pet hair toward the end caps rather than wrapping the hub, which keeps the brush spinning at full efficiency for longer between inspections. The auto-empty dock connected to this robot seals its dustbin contents into a 2.5-litre self-sealing bag after every session, and the bag’s self-sealing neck means even a full bag can be removed without spilling its contents.
The bag is where the hands-free arrangement either works or stops working. At full capacity the dock seals the neck before alerting for a swap, but a bag at that point can no longer accept a new transfer. Running the robot on a full bag leaves the dustbin uncleared and the next session starts with reduced effective capacity.
