The Roborock RRE0VCM is a variant in the Qrevo Edge line, built around the extended mop reach that defines the Edge platform. Standard robot mops leave a narrow unmopped strip along walls and corners; the Qrevo Edge closes that gap by extending its cleaning arm during the skirting-board pass. Keeping that capability working as designed means keeping the mop pads in good condition. High-frequency dock washes flatten the microfibre nap gradually, and the extended arm geometry puts more pressure on the outer pad area than a fixed-position mop would. The result is that pad wear shows up sooner on the Edge line than on robots with simpler mopping systems, and that makes a reliable replacement set worth having on hand.
