The Roborock S9 MaxV Slim is the slim-chassis variant of the S9 MaxV platform, built on a low-profile body that slides under furniture a standard-height S-series robot cannot reach. It uses a single rubber brush in a tighter housing than the full-height models, where reduced clearance around the brush chamber concentrates fibre build-up at the bearing seats rather than distributing it along the roll. The retractable mop module stows fully into the chassis when crossing carpet rather than simply lifting, which eliminates the lift mechanism but creates a maintenance point at the retraction channel: fibres that enter during a cleaning run collect there and are not shed when the mop deploys on the next session.

This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Roborock part, supplying 2 anti-tangle brush sets, 4 side brushes, 6 filters, 4 dust bags and 4 mop pads – 20 parts. Clean the single rubber brush at a minimum every week in homes with pets or long hair, because the reduced housing clearance on the slim chassis means fibre that would stay loose on a full-height model instead packs immediately into the bearing seats; a brush that cannot spin freely by hand after cleaning is a precursor to a motor fault. Inspect and clear the mop retraction channel monthly to prevent fibre accumulation from restricting the deploy-and-stow mechanism. Tap the HEPA filter out weekly and replace every two to three months; a filter past its service interval causes the motor to compensate with additional current, adding heat and long-term wear to the slim-chassis brushless motor. Replace dock dust bags every three to five weeks and inspect mop pads when surface texture or stiffness signals the dock wash is no longer restoring cleaning performance.
