Dyson V11 Torque Drive Extra – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Dyson V11 Torque Drive Extra extends the standard V11 Torque Drive with an expanded accessory bundle while keeping the same High Torque cleaner head and 185 AW Hyperdymium motor that define the core V11 platform. Filter part covers every V11 variant without exception, and the washing temperature for all V11 models is cold running water – unlike the warm-water instruction Dyson specifies for the subsequent V15 generation. Monthly cold washing is the baseline; households using the machine daily in Eco or Auto mode should wash every two to three weeks, since the longer run times per charge increase the total air volume processed between washes. Fill the filter body, cover both ends and shake firmly until the rinse runs clear, then leave upright for 24 hours in a ventilated space. Operating the machine before the filter is fully dry causes irreversible motor bearing failure. Inspect the High Torque brush bar end caps weekly, clearing any hair wrap that has migrated toward the bearing journals.

This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson part , providing 2 washable HEPA filters, a dustbin lid, an upper bin seal ring with a Torx screwdriver, quick-release buttons (small and large) and a trigger lock. Two filters remove the 24-hour wait after each wash: fit the dry filter and carry on, then leave the freshly washed one to complete its drying cycle. The dustbin lid and bin seal ring are the bin-assembly parts that typically reach the end of their life well before the motor; the Torx screwdriver for the seal ring removal is included. The trigger lock allows sustained hands-free operation in Eco or Auto mode without holding the trigger. Replace both filters every 12 months, or sooner if cold washing consistently leaves the filter medium grey or darker.
