Dyson V12 Detect Slim – Plus.Parts® Spare Filters

The Dyson V12 Detect Slim is the base configuration of Dyson’s V12 Detect Slim sub-range, supplying the Fluffy Optic cleaner head and the piezo acoustic particle sensor at the same 150 air-watt output as every other model in the V12 family. The Fluffy Optic’s soft nylon roller is designed for hard floors, collecting fine particulate including cereal crumbs, fine dust, and particles that settle into grout lines and floor textures at the V12’s rated airflow. The post-motor HEPA filter processes the air coming off this fine-particulate work, and at 150 air watts, that means the filter loads more quickly than on lower-powered platforms with the same usage frequency. The piezo sensor on the V12 Detect Slim counts particles in real time and adjusts suction in Auto mode when it detects increased floor contamination. Accurate Auto mode performance depends on clear airflow past the sensor inlet, and a filter that has not been washed in more than a month restricts that airflow: the sensor undercounts particles and holds the machine at a lower suction level than the floor requires. The LCD alert on the V12 Detect Slim appears when this restriction begins, providing a prompt before motor pulsing starts.

This set of three Plus.Parts® washable HEPA filters provides the rotation that removes the 24-hour drying constraint from the monthly service routine. Each filter is matched to the V12 Detect Slim’s post-motor twist-lock housing. Wash one when the alert appears or on the monthly schedule, and run the machine with a second during the required drying period.
