The larger air volume the motor moves on every run loads the pleated element faster; a filter that passed inspection last week can restrict airflow this week, and at this suction level the restriction produces a distinct drop rather than a gradual fade. Tap all four edges of the filter frame over a bin every one to two weeks and replace the element when the face reads an even mid-grey, whatever the calendar says. Do not wash the HEPA with water – water permanently disrupts the pleat geometry even after the filter dries.

Inspect the DuoRoller brush weekly, cut hair along its full length and clear both end-cap bearing holes, replacing the brush every five to seven months. Clear the side-brush posts weekly and swap the pair every three to six months – sooner if the bristles splay and stop meeting the floor. The dock washes below 75°C, so spray nozzle limescale develops slowly; a monthly wipe is sufficient. Inspect the mop pads at eight weeks and replace when the outer rim has lost its nap. Replace the sealed dust bag every three to five weeks and empty the dirty-water tank every two to three days. Wipe the LDS port and cliff sensors weekly with a dry cloth.
