Roborock QR 598 maintenance set

The Roborock QR 598 is a market-variant SKU for the Qrevo L platform, running 10,000 Pa suction with a single DuoRoller brush, dual spinning mop pads that lift 10 mm for carpet clearance, and a Multifunctional Dock with three-stage mop washing and warm-air drying. Two round microfibre pads spin in counter-rotation at up to 200 RPM with downward pressure applied; the outer rim of each pad travels significantly faster than the centre, so wear concentrates at the edge while the inner fibres remain relatively fresh. A pad that looks serviceable from above can already be worn at the rim and will deposit streaks along tile grout or skirting boards before the centre shows any degradation. Inspect pads at eight weeks and replace when the rim has lost its nap or persistent discolouration remains after a dock wash.

The dock washes below 75°C, so limescale on the spray nozzle develops slowly – a monthly wipe is sufficient. If mop pads return with one side visibly dirtier, a partially blocked nozzle is the first thing to check. Tap the HEPA filter weekly and replace every two months; at 10,000 Pa the filter loads faster than on lower-suction Qrevo models and the gap between looking fine and restricting airflow is short. Inspect the DuoRoller brush weekly, clear both end-cap bearing holes and replace every five to seven months. Clear the side-brush posts weekly and swap the set every three to six months. Replace the sealed dust bag every three to five weeks and empty the dirty-water tank every two to three days. Wipe the LDS port and cliff sensors weekly.
